Community Involvement

Support pollinators through hands-on activities and program outreach.

This is an ongoing opportunity with flexible, year-round involvement. Time commitment will vary depending on the activities you choose to support.

Where:

Contribute in-person at events in Squamish, or behind-the-scenes from home.

Who:

We welcome anyone interested in getting involved—there are many ways to contribute depending on your skills, interests, and availability.

What is involved?

  • Plant native plants (dates TBD)
  • Provide ~2 hours a month to weed native planted plots
  • Lead interpretive walks
  • Staff booths at community events
  • Support fundraising ideas and follow-through
  • Assist with graphics and communications materials
  • Compile and organize spreadsheet data
  • Write monthly or bi-monthly blog posts
  • Support social media outreach and content creation
  • Help map pollinator habitat using GIS tools
