Next time you’re at Eagle Run dike, have a look at the interpretive panels in the kiosks and the EagleWatch shelter. Our team of intrepid volunteers has just completed a project to replace the polycarbonate glazing which had become cloudy, scratched and cracked since the panels were installed in 1997. The new material will help preserve the unique posters which have informed many thousands of students, residents, and visitors about the lives and importance of our bald eagles.
Our thanks to the District of Squamish and the Squamish Community Foundation for funding the project through a Community Enhancement Grant of $3400.
