This is a new, ongoing volunteer role, overseeing the planning, organization and delivery of 2-3 events per year, with the support of other volunteers.
When: Occasional, year-round role. We typically host one event in the spring and participate in 2-3 other community events (Brackendale Fall Fair and Rivers Day).
Who: This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has good organizational skills, and wants to contribute on an occasional basis. If you have event planning experience, even better!
What: The Events Coordinator will oversee all aspects of Nature Squamish events, from permitting, activity planning, volunteer recruitment and coordination, event promotion, venue booking, set-up and take-down, and liaising with other organizations.
Where: Events take place at various locations in Squamish.
